HEIC and TIFF are not accepted. Rebuilding those formats in a browser produces a file we cannot stand behind, so Ookii Drop refuses them rather than half doing it.

Drag on the page to mark a region. Click a mark to select it, drag its corner to resize, press Delete to remove it.

Without a mouse: add a mark, then arrow keys move it, Shift plus arrows moves it further, Alt plus arrows resizes it, Delete removes it.

Pattern scan

Reads the text layer and proposes marks. Scanned pages and images have no text layer, so nothing will be found and every region has to be marked by hand.

Higher quality means a bigger file and more memory. On a phone, stay at compact or balanced.
